Abstract
This paper describes a preliminary study
carried out by the Digital Health Group in Intel with an
aim to examine daily social rhythms within community
dwelling seniors and their relation to objectively and
subjectively recorded sleep. Sensing elements were placed
in the homes of 10 relatively healthy senior participants for
a period of two weeks to monitor sleep and specific social
activities including mobility and contact with others.
