Abstract
This study shows the close connection of the Latin glosses of St Gall,
Stiftsbibliothek, ms 251 with those of the Celtic glossed manuscripts of the
Venerable Bede’s De Temporum Ratione. The emphasis lies on Latin glosses
in parallel transmission, which are analysed in detail and compared to each
other.
