Abstract
Provides information on viva voce, a doctoral degree examination consisting of the evaluation of the formal written dissertation and the assessment of the doctoral degree candidate offered by a university or business school. Characteristics of examiners; Time allotted for the oral examination; Issues which should be addressed by the examiners in establishing whether the doctoral candidate has met the requirements.
