Abstract
Presents the study "Exploring Top Management Support for the Introduction of Enterprise Information Systems: A Literature Review," by John A. Loonam and Joe McDonagh, which argues for greater inquiry into the field of top management support for the introduction of enterprise information systems (EIS) specially on the Health Service in the Republic of Ireland. Structure of EIS; Critical success factors attributed to EIS; Objective of the study to call for urgent empirical inquiry into the EIS project of the Irish health service.
